So with winter break over and school back in full swing, I'm trying to figure out how I'll survive? Praying for a snow day is probably the best bet, but with a dragging day at school, I still have Secret Life to look forward to tonight.

Have you ever wondered about the lives of top designers, and who they were before they were conquering the fashion scene? Well let me just tell you, teenagers aren't the only ones with secret lives.

Who: Diane Von Furstenberg (DVF)

Where: Born in Brussels, but resides in New York City & is now a US citizen

Interesting Fact: She was married to Prince Egon of Furstenberg, Germany.

Claim to Fame: In 1970 DVF started a clothing line with a $30,000 budget. In 1973 her acclaimed Knitted Jersey Wrap Dress bought her a ticket into the fashion world.

Fashion Designer goes Author: After taking a hiatus Diane returns by writing "A Signature Life" a collaboration of her past and the future.

Along with her spectacular clothing line Furstenberg is the president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) & Recipient of multiple fashion awards.

Who: Vera Wang

Where: Born & Raised in New York City, attended Chapin School//Sarah Lawerence College

Interesting Fact: Trained as a Figure Skater & Competed at the 1968 U.S Championships

Claim to Fame: Vera was the youngest fashion editor of Vogue starting at age 23.

After 16 years of work, Wang was turned down for editor-in-chief and left the magazine. She then began working for Ralph Lauren as Design Director of Accessories.

1990:Vera Wang opens her own Bridal Shop!

Wang continues her career with collections featuring perfume, shoes, jewelry, eye-wear, and ready to wear.
